Listen to this very poignant story. Once there was a very poor widow who happened to only possess of one silver coin in her pocket. She got hungry and so she thought of buying one loaf of bread as well as a small slice of cheese. She got out of her dilapidated dwelling to go to a near bakeshop. Unfortunately, due to poor and failing sight, the woman tripped and fell on the ground.
The silver coin fell out from the woman’s hand and slowly strolled down the passageway. The woman upon realizing that she was about to lose her remaining and only coin, forgot the pain she was in and quickly stood up to seek for it. After some minutes of failed attempts, she defiantly looked above and started to blame God.
“My Lord, you are very unkind!” the woman blurted out. ”You know well that it was my last money and yet you allowed it to be taken away from me! Now, I am hopeless and so hungry!”
Out of desperation, using all her remaining energy she tried her best to search again for the lost solver coin. Searching all over the place, she saw a shining thing not far from her. Hoping that it was her silver coin, she felt a sense of relief.
The widow then hurriedly reached out to get her coin back. But she got a big surprise of her life when instead of her silver coin she got a diamond ring.
