The Emptiness Inside
There is a deep longing inside each of us. This is a longing that no one or nothing in this present material could satisfy.
It is a need that the Creator instilled in all of us – inside our heart from the very day we are conceived. And only He can plug this gaping void because it is only Him that could show us the greatest love of all.
The Creator can make us whole, and the journey could start with a close relationship with His Son who offered His life to all of us. Someone was sent more than 2000 years ago to save us from spiritual condemnation and wretchedness.
All of us without exemption need to be rescued from our sins and from the wrong and immoral things we feel as normal. We all fall short of the right gauge of what it means to be holy and untainted – the standard defined by the Creator himself.
We can try to achieve holiness by being good and doing good deeds. But that is just like shooting for the stars. It is humanly impossible. We can never save ourselves. We are bound by our tainted human nature.
Is there a real hope? Yes, there is! There is good news for all of us. The Savior is not planning to see if you can clean up yourself – His plan is to do it for you. The Father sent His beloved Son to save us – to be offered as a living sacrifice in our place.
Jesus took the unfair judgment and the most painful punishment we all deserve by choosing to die on the cross. And so we could say that while we are still wallowing in sins, the Savior already offered His divine life for us.
The ultimate sacrifice is the greatest symbol of the Father’s LOVE for all humanity. When the Son came back to the divine life after three days on the grave, He showed that He already conquered DEATH – the death we all deserve.
One of the many purposes of Jesus was to take the grave punishment on the cross. Our part is to fully believe and be inspired on what He did by accepting our sinful nature and asking Him for forgiveness as our Savior. He is our merciful rescuer.
It is about time we have to turn our mind and heart to the very person who loves us wholly and unconditionally.
He is the one who can fully fill the void we feel inside at all time!
